This client had a beautiful home office with a spectacular view of the property. There were two problems with the home office: 1) there were no files and 2) office supplies were in multiple file drawers making it difficult to work let alone find the supplies.

All papers and supplies were removed from the file drawers and sorted (see "during" photo).  The closet was converted into an office supply closet.  I utilized the client's black mesh trays as well as her clear drawers and containers.  All supplies were sorted and labeled.  Supplies are now within easy reach and office doors close when not in use.

  • Dream (Corporate) Kitchen Remodel!

    • This is the picture of the lunchroom "before" the makeover.

    • This is "after" the makeover which included: new cabinets, countertops, island and all new appliances.

This lunchroom was in desperate need for a makeover.  It was used by employees as well as corporate guests.  In the after photo, I redesigned and organized the kitchen. Now, it not only functions as a lunchroom for employees but they can cook small meals for corporate guests in lieu of ordering in all of their meals.  Two microwaves make the lunchtime rush easier and the employees love the new refrigerator which easily holds all of their lunches. On the opposite wall, I included one of the company slogans.  To view all of the kitchen photos and to read more about this fantastic remodel, click here to go to my blog, "Dream Mom".

    • "AFTER" PHOTO

In the photos above and below, you'll notice the before and after photos of this client's home office that was located in her family room. The family room had been altered to a master bedroom/home office combination.

This client contacted me because she couldn't find her bills.  In the above pictures, you'll see the desk top standing on end with papers on the chair, the desk and the bed. In the before photo, the office was located on the northeast side of the room; in the after photo, I relocated the office to the north end of the room, making way for the new family room. The bed was relocated to the upstairs master bedroom and the family room was reconverted back to it's original purpose as a family room.

In the photos above, you'll see the the northwest corner of the room in both the before and after photos. In the before photo, the northwest corner had the bed and some shelving. I removed all of the shelving and relocated the office to that side of the room. The bed was relocated upstairs.

  • ART STUDIO

    • "BEFORE" PHOTO

    • "AFTER" PHOTO

To say the scope of this project was rather large, would be an understatement. This was a huge project namely because the client had multiple interests and art supplies for each hobby namely: calligraphy, drawing, greeting cards, rubber stamps, kits, handmade books, altered books as well as supplies for collage. In addition there were samples, reference books, art books, papers for all of the hobbies as well as general art supplies. In addition, the client wanted a gift wrapping area.

The client had two spare bedrooms full of supplies. The goal of the project was to create a library in one room and an art studio in the other. Both goals were achieved.

The photo on the left, is one of many before photos. The above after photo on the right shows the containers for general art supplies and calligraphy.

The lovely envelope above is one of the client's creations after the project was completed.

In the before photo, you'll see one of the spare bedrooms. Notice all of the books and various art supplies. In the after photo, all of the supplies for each hobby were categorized and containerized for easy use.  Everything was labeled.

    • "AFTER" PHOTO OF ALL RUBBER STAMPS & RUBBER STAMP SUPPLIES

Both rooms were cleared out and every item was sorted, categorized and labeled.  The after photo above shows just the rubber stamp section. All of the rubber stamps were sorted by general categories and supplies for the rubber stamps were stored together as well.  I utilized the clients existing plastic bins as much as possible. In this case, I grouped the black bins together and made them the "rubber stamp" section.  The bins were stored in sections around the perimeter of the room so they could be easily accessed.

  • BASEMENT ORGANIZING

    • "BEFORE" PHOTO

    • "AFTER" PHOTO

This client had an extremely large basement, over 2000 square feet and wanted it organized.  In the before photos, items are stored randomly and not categorized.

In the after photo, I took her furniture and a few spare items and created a seating area which is adjacent to the treadmill and exercise area.  That way, they can sit on the sofa when they are done or put on their shoes.  I also staged this area as a room, as opposed to just storing the furniture randomly. This gives the client an opportunity to see how the area might look, should they ever finish the basement.

    • "AFTER" PHOTO OF EXERCISE AREA

In the before photo, the treadmill faced the t.v. however the workout equipment was scattered. There were exercise tapes/DVDs on the shelves below the t.v.

In the after photo, the stepper is placed directly in front of the t.v. so the client can do her exercise tapes/DVDs. The hand weights are stored next to the step.

    • "AFTER" PHOTO OF BOOKSHELF IN EXERCISE AREA

Previously, the bookshelf was at the other end of the basement and stored mostly books.  The books were purged and the ones to be saved were boxed up.  The bookshelf was moved to the exercise area and now stores the exercise tapes, DVDs and games.  Yoga mats are stored near the bookshelf for easy access.
