Dream Organizers

Whether you are getting ready to move or just need a new look for your home, I can help you transform your home, using most of what you own. Go from "ordinary" to "extraordinary" with home staging. Check out these "before and afters."
"Designed to Live" This homeowner had a beautiful new home but something was missing. She had great furniture and newly painted walls. While the house was gorgeous and they had wall colors they liked, it just hadn't came together. I spoke with this client to determine how she wanted her home to look. From there, I asked her to send me pictures of her home prior to the initial consultation (It's not required but does help.).
In four hours, I was able to transform all of the following rooms; I used things she had already purchased and had in her home. In addition, I gave her ideas on other items she could add to each of the rooms to complete them.
After this session, they hired me to do the remainder of their home. I created space plans (how the furniture should be arragned) for each room, made updates using items they already had and gave them pictures, ideas and a shopping list for each room. I told them what to look for; in that respect, they were able to select new items for their home knowing they would fit right in and look beautiful.
Check out these great before and afters to see what I did in "one" four hour staging session:
Foyer "Before" Photo:

In the "before" foyer photo above, the rug is too small and the foyer is cluttered. A larger rug is needed to give it some presence.
Foyer "After" Photo:

In the "after" photo, a rug the homeowner had in the garage was used. She had originally purchased it for the foyer but didn't use it. The scale of this rug is more appropriate for the size of the foyer.

Powder Room "Before" Photo:

Without a rug, the powder room looks a bit bare.
Powder Room "After" Photo

Using the rug from the foyer (see before photo), the powder room looks more finished. The scale of the rug is also correct.

Dining Room "After" Photo (above)
In this photo, you will notice the centerpiece is more proportioned and there are pillows on the dining room corner chairs. These pillows are the same ones that are used in the living room which bring continuity between the two rooms.

Dining Room "During" Pictures
In this photo, a mirror and sofa table have been moved from the family room to the dining room west wall. The mirror still needs to be hung and I recommended that a new lighting fixture be installed that better matches the room's furniture.
Dining Room "After" Photo

In a follow up visit, the mirror is now hung. Fall flowers have been added to the table. The homeowner has added the red placemats and napkins and the room looks warmer. Since that time, a new wrought iron chandelier has been added for a more modern touch.
